Summary of PracticeDanielle Morone provides legal counsel on environmental, land use and airport advisory and litigation matters, as described further below.
Environmental and Land Use: Ms. Morone represents lead agencies and project applicants on advisory and litigation matters concerning CEQA and NEPA compliance. As part of this practice, Ms. Morone works with environmental consultants of varied specialties, and provides counsel on the application of existing and proposed federal, state and local regulatory frameworks seeking to protect the environment. Ms. Morone devotes a significant portion of her practice to the regulatory framework established to protect air quality and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Airport: Ms. Morone represents public and private airport owners/operators on matters arising under California's State Aeronautics Act (including variances from the State’s noise standards); the FAA’s orders, advisory circulars, and other agency-issued guidance; airport master planning efforts; and, regulatory compliance (particularly for air quality issues). Ms. Morone also represents Airport Land Use Commissions on matters concerning the preparation, adoption, amendment, and implementation of airport land use compatibility plans.
