Mike Masterson’s practice focuses on complex state and federal litigation matters and land use, environmental, hazardous substances and construction matters. As such, Mike represents a variety of clients, including real estate development firms, property owners, and public agencies in diverse land use and environmental planning and litigation matters. His litigation experience includes general business litigation, breach of contract, business tort claims, professional negligence, real estate, construction, hazardous substances, mechanic’s liens, and development financing actions. Mike also has significant experience assisting in the preparation of CEQA-compliant documents and related land use planning documents, and has particular expertise with respect to environmental investigations relating to on-site hazards and hazardous materials, and the clean-up and remediation of same. His practice also includes transactional matters, including drafting and negotiating diverse contracts and development agreements.
