Michael Haberkorn devotes his practice exclusively to the representation of public and private sector clients on environmental and land use planning and litigation matters. Michael focuses on assisting clients in connection with the preparation of environmental compliance documents for complex or controversial projects arising under CEQA, NEPA and related environmental and land use laws. He works regularly with technical consultants in a broad range of disciplines to assist clients in achieving approval and implementation of their planning and development projects.

Over the years, Michael has developed considerable background and experience with transportation-related issues, including with respect to vehicle miles traveled (VMT) and transit analyses. Michael works closely with many leading transportation consulting firms, which has allowed him to acquire an in-depth understanding of the technical framework for transportation modeling and analysis.

Additionally, Michael has unique expertise with respect to the preparation and review of campus development projects for public universities. Michael routinely works with campus planners and environmental consultants to fully analyze the potential environmental implications of campus-related improvement projects located in various settings throughout California.
